These are a couple of vests. Eggplant on the left is Pebble in Paton's Classic Wool in Plum Heather, a color that looks nothing like the one showing up on my monitor right now. It's deep eggplant. Aubergiiiiine. Super great. I am continually pleasantly surprised by how not-awful that yarn is.
Ziggy Stardust on the right over there is a Tummy Warmer knit without the pattern stitch, which produced hands down the most remarkable pooling I have ever seen. I actually don't care that much about pooling, or rather I don't often go with a variegated yarn so it hasn't come up all that often for me, but this was fascinating to watch happen. I let it, so now it's all 1972 David Bowie from the Ziggy Stardust tour. Not a super usual look for a baby, but whatever.
Also, Flight of the Conchords is the best.
